Walmart is the top ecommerce platform in the US, and it is expanding to include more international sellers as it grows globally.

International Sellers

Good news for international sellers! Walmart is now allowing sellers from China, India, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, and Mexico to sell on its marketplace.

If you’re an international seller from the above countries and want to sell on Walmart.com, you can apply through https://seller.walmart.com/signup.

When you visit the page, you can select your country from the drop-down menu in the Business phone number section. Keep an eye out for updates as Walmart continues to expand and open up to more countries.

To make the application process easier for international sellers, we’ve compiled a list of the specific requirements for each country. The requirements may vary by country, so please check the list below:

United Kingdom (UK)

Required Documents:

Tax ID: Company Registration Number (CRN)

  1. Certificate of Incorporation
  2. Utility Bill or Bank Statement

India

Tax ID: PAN, GSTIN

Required Documents:

  1. Copy of the Company PAN Card
  2. GST Registration Certificate
  3. Certificate of Incorporation given by Ministry of Corporate Affairs OR Memorandum of Association/Articles of Association
  4. Utility Bill or Bank Statement

China

Tax ID: Unified Social Credit Code

Required Documents:

  1. A copy of Business License stamped with a company chop
  2. Letter of Authorization, signed by your Business’s Legal Representative stamped with company chop
  3. A copy of Personal ID Card of the Business Legal Representative stamped with company chop
  4. Bank of China (BOC)’s bank voucher verification

Hong Kong

Tax ID: Company Registration Number

Required Documents:

  1. A copy of Business Registration Certificate and stamped with company chop
  2. A copy of Certification of Incorporation stamped with company chop
  3. Letter of Authorization, signed by your Business’s Director stamped with company chop

Canada

Tax ID: Canada Business Number (CBN)

Required Documents:

  1. Articles of Incorporation (AOI) OR Notice of Assessment (NOA)
  2. Utility Bill OR Bank Statement

Mexico

Required Documents:

Tax ID: Mexico Federal Taxpayer Registry Code (RFC)

  1. Articles of Incorporation
  2. Utility Bill or Bank Statement
